What you will do

  • Build multi-part assemblies in parametric CAD and keep the models clear and easy to maintain
  • Set out assembly structure, mating choices and design intent, and explain the trade-offs behind them
  • Check tolerance stack-ups and whether designs can actually be made
  • Review other people's models and write up what works and what does not
  • Answer technical questions from project teams in writing, on your own schedule
