Run the content side of an inbound marketing operation, leading a team of copywriters and owning what gets published and how well it performs. The content must rank in search and be cited by AI answer engines.
What you will do
- Manage, coach and grow a team of six copywriters through one to ones, feedback and hiring
- Set expectations for output, quality and ownership and hold the standard
- Own the editorial standard for accuracy, depth, voice, structure and product truth
- Work with SEO colleagues on keyword strategy, topic clusters, briefs and refreshes
- Align with web, technical SEO, design, product marketing and sales on publishing and the buying journey
What they look for
- Experience managing or coaching a content or copywriting team
- Strong editing and editorial judgement
- Knowledge of keyword strategy, topic clusters and content briefs
- Understanding of optimizing content for search engines and AI answers
- Ability to apply AI tools in content workflows while keeping quality high
- Experience planning and measuring work against OKRs
