Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (All Ages)

About the role

A full-time advanced practice role caring for a patient panel with a wide range of needs, mixing acute, chronic and wellness visits. Care is delivered mostly in clinic with some remote work and occasional telehealth.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel with diverse needs through acute, chronic and well visits
• Treat patients in office or at testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
• Take part in continuous learning through weekly clinical rounds
• Collaborate with in-office teammates in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
• Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures

What they look for

• Completed an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program with national certification
• State license in California by the start date
• At least two years in outpatient primary care within the past five years, or one year plus a primary care fellowship or urgent care experien
• Passion for human-centered primary care
• Ability to communicate with and care for people of all backgrounds
• Ability to use technology effectively to deliver quality care

Nice to have

• Experience with LARC insertion (IUD and Nexplanon) and colposcopy procedures
