Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer, AI Trainer

About the role

Train and assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation work. You prepare cases, run them, and build trusted reference results the agents are measured against.

What you will do

• Turn CAD geometry into simulation setups and run the cases
• Produce verified reference solutions for each task
• Write Python scripts that check the agent's results
• Assess agent output against expert expectations

What they look for

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or energy, oil and gas or a similar field
• Several years of practical CFD work in industry or research, meshing included
• Hands-on use of OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or CFX, or STAR-CCM+
• Experience with mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks
• Working knowledge of Python and GitHub
• English at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery
• Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows
• A PhD is preferred but not mandatory
