About the role

The work sits mostly on business process change and project management, with only a small share of IT implementation activity. Complex, variable problems come with the territory.

What you will do

• Plan and run complex projects with cross-functional teams, from requirements through budget, execution and closure.
• Keep project plans, meeting notes, issue logs and risk plans up to date.
• Report status to stakeholders and outside agencies, and negotiate resources and fixes.

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree, or five or more years inside a managed care system or health plan.
• At least five years of project management on large initiatives, plus two years of change management.
• Hands-on experience with Medicaid or Medicare and with claims lifecycle work.
• A grasp of operations, technology, communications and processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools and practices.
