Personal Injury Intake Specialist

About the role

You would be the first contact for people who have been hurt and are considering legal help, screening their situations and guiding qualified cases toward the attorneys. The work is fast paced and requires both efficiency and compassion.

What you will do

• Take inbound calls, online enquiries and referrals as the initial point of contact for people seeking legal help
• Screen matters such as car and rideshare crashes, falls, property incidents, bites and elder mistreatment
• Collect incident facts, injuries, treatment history, liability and insurance details to build a case picture
• Apply set criteria to spot urgent, complex or valuable matters and pass them to the right legal staff
• Keep records, call logs and notes current in Litify and chase pending leads for missing details
• Hand cases off smoothly to attorneys, case managers and investigators while safeguarding client confidentiality

What they look for

• One to three years in personal injury or legal intake, or another high volume client intake setting
• Direct experience screening personal injury matters
• Familiarity with US plaintiff side personal injury work such as auto crashes, premises liability, falls and bites
• Comfort handling sensitive conversations with empathy and clear explanations
• Ability to manage your own leads, follow ups and documentation

Pay

USD 1,000 to 1,300 per month
