Acts as the first contact for people seeking help after an injury, screens their matters and guides qualified prospects through intake for a US personal injury practice.
What you will do
- Handle inbound calls, online inquiries and referrals as the first point of contact
- Screen cases such as vehicle and rideshare accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, dog bites and elder neglect
- Gather incident details, injuries, treatment, liability and insurance information for evaluation
- Apply intake criteria to flag viable, high-value, urgent or complex matters for escalation
- Follow up on pending leads, collect missing details and keep records current in Litify
- Hand off qualified cases to attorneys, case managers and investigators without delay
What they look for
- One to three years in personal injury intake, legal intake or a similar high-volume client intake setting
- Direct experience with personal injury intake
- Empathy and clear communication in sensitive or stressful conversations
- Careful documentation and respect for confidentiality procedures
