Product Quality Analyst II

About the role

Tests web applications, APIs and batch systems to confirm they meet business needs. Works with engineers and analysts to raise quality and client satisfaction.

What you will do

• Write and run manual and automated test cases for web apps, APIs and batch systems
• Record defects thoroughly and keep test results in the test management system
• Track bugs in defect systems and dig out hard to find issues
• Work with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders on requirements
• Apply quality assurance methods and the software development life cycle
• Propose creative fixes that improve the client experience

What they look for

• Degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering or a related area, or equal experience
• Four years of manual or automated testing experience
• A knack for breaking software and finding its weak points
• Knowledge of the Gherkin test format
• A self-directed, inventive thinker who keeps up with industry trends

Nice to have

• Familiarity with user interface development, billing or payroll modules, or import and export data files
