Risk Specialist (Transaction Monitoring)

About the role

A temporary role in a financial crime investigations unit, covering a maternity leave. The specialist monitors customer transactions and assesses potential financial crime risks.

What you will do

• Review alerts raised by anti-financial crime monitoring systems and investigate customer activity
• Examine transaction patterns and data from internal systems, public sources and external records
• Work with customer-facing and other internal teams to understand what customers do
• Prepare clear assessments of suspicious activity and escalate cases where needed
• Advise colleagues on anti-money laundering matters and share expertise
• Help improve monitoring, investigation and risk assessment practices

What they look for

• At least one year of experience in AML, sanctions screening or financial crime prevention
• Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail when spotting patterns and weighing risks
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
• A proactive, practical approach to solving problems
• Fluent spoken and written Lithuanian and English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Russian
