  • Read customer statements of work, sales forecasts, project requirements and schedules to build quarterly purchasing plans and material spend
  • Manage material demand through the advanced procurement process so requirements match project milestones and buying timelines
  • Align with NPI, engineering, procurement and program management on upcoming releases, milestones and execution dates
  • Check that buy lists, quantities, pricing, material requirements and needed dates are complete before handoff to procurement
  • Track long-lead, high-risk and schedule-critical materials and push actions that limit project impact
  • Watch scope, schedule, material and pricing changes for effects on plans and forecasts, and drive fixes across teams
