Senior AI/ML Engineer, Life Science

About the role

A senior engineer leads complex machine learning projects that apply advanced AI to biological, genomic, clinical and healthcare data for cancer screening and precision oncology. The role sets technical direction from idea through deployment.

What you will do

• Lead planning and delivery of complex AI and machine learning projects from concept to deployment
• Turn business needs in bioinformatics, biostatistics and data engineering into clear solution requirements
• Guide the design and implementation of software using state of the art AI and ML methods
• Set up an agile way of working that delivers quick, iterative proof points for chosen technologies
• Coach junior colleagues and share AI and ML best practices across teams
• Represent AI expertise in cross functional meetings and contribute creative ideas to the intellectual property portfolio
