Senior Business Systems Analyst

About the role

A senior analyst bridging business stakeholders, operations and IT to translate requirements into system solutions. The role uses data and process expertise to improve provider experience and claims operations.

What you will do

• Analyse processes, system functionality and operational data to find trends and improvement opportunities
• Use SQL and reporting tools to extract, validate and analyse data supporting decisions
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis and apply corrective actions
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards and performance metrics for claims and provider operations
• Coordinate business testing, including planning, execution, validation and user acceptance

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree or higher, or seven or more years of related experience in place of a degree
• Five or more years of experience in a related field
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with SQL for analysis and reporting
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting system implementations
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare payer operations
• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Excel or similar analytics tools
• Experience with provider experience or claims servicing initiatives
