What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate technical work behind US nuclear safety licensing, including safety analyses and evaluation reports.
  • Run and approve criticality safety evaluations and analyses for fuel fabrication, handling, storage and transport, setting validated limits
  • Apply Monte Carlo codes such as MCNP and SCALE to assess criticality margins, bias and uncertainty, and lead radiation shielding designs and
  • Maintain the criticality safety program in line with ANSI/ANS-8 standards and NRC and DOE rules.
