Senior Project Manager, Business Transformation

About the role

Lead individual workstreams inside a wider business transformation programme, planning and delivering projects that change how the business runs. The work covers process redesign, systems rollouts and organisational change.

What you will do

• Take charge of assigned projects from start to finish, covering scope, timetable, budget, risk and quality
• Turn the transformation charter into a detailed plan with milestones, owners and dependencies
• Report status regularly and raise risks and blockers before they become serious
• Host cross-team working sessions with operations, IT, finance and other affected groups
• Keep the risk, assumption, issue and dependency log and push mitigations through to closure
• Coordinate resource needs with the team's capacity planning and run stage reviews and post-implementation lessons learned

What they look for

• At least six years in project management, ideally in transformation, process improvement or systems implementation
• At least six years running several full project life cycles end to end
• Skill at spotting project risks and preparing contingency and recovery plans
• Ability to earn the trust and respect of senior stakeholders quickly
• Experience defining scope, timelines, resources and risk plans with stakeholders

Nice to have

• Prior work on business transformation projects with several teams, focused on financial and operational results
• Experience with behavioural change such as redesign strategy, stakeholder impact assessment and readiness
