What you will do

  • Design and build Python applications and integrations against ticket specs, with attention to scale, performance and security.
  • Review code on both sides, giving and receiving feedback.
  • Join backlog grooming, sprint planning and daily standups.
  • Meet stakeholders to learn their workflows and help analysts shape tickets.
  • Monitor logs and processes, and troubleshoot problems that come up.

  • At least three years of professional Python work.
  • Python talking to relational and NoSQL databases such as RDS and MongoDB.
  • Flask or Django, plus experience across other frameworks.
  • Frontend work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, ideally ReactJS.
  • Confident writing and tuning complex multi-table queries in MySQL or similar.
  • Reading and writing JSON, CSV and XML programmatically.

Nice to have

  • A bachelor's in computer science or a related field, though not required.
  • AWS or other cloud experience or certifications.
