  • Design and build secure Kubernetes infrastructure that scales in multi-cloud and hybrid setups
  • Set the technical direction for core control plane work: tenancy, deployment pipelines, observability
  • Mentor engineers and push for a culture of ownership and curiosity
  • Bring in GitOps, Kyverno policy as code, Cilium networking, autoscaling and better resource use
  • Work closely with SRE, platform and application teams so infrastructure fits product needs
  • Guide CI/CD, reliability, container lifecycle and developer experience practices

  • Seven to ten or more years in engineering, with at least five in infrastructure, platform or backend work
  • Solid Python or Go, with a record of production systems used across an engineering org
  • Able to design systems from scratch and make pragmatic tradeoffs
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals: networking, scheduling, scaling, controllers
  • Experience across AWS, GCP or Azure, and hybrid environments

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Cilium, Kyverno, KEDA, Gateway API or OPA
  • Experience running multi-tenant SaaS platforms
  • Exposure to on-prem delivery or regulated environments
  • Performance tuning for large data or compute workloads
