Staff Writer, Conversion and Growth

About the role

Craft the language, messaging and story that guide customers through a high-stakes financial purchase. Work hands-on with product, design, research and analytics from the earliest ideas onward.

What you will do

• Write headlines, subheads, calls to action and narrative journeys across landing pages, onboarding, checkout and post-purchase
• Create a narrative thread linking every touchpoint in major product flows into one coherent story
• Combine marketing skill with trust building and emotional appeal to make a complex product feel approachable
• Iterate quickly with collaborators and explain clearly what the goals are and what works
• Present work to leadership, absorb feedback live and finalize content on the spot
• Use AI tools to produce on-brand content faster and help shape tools others can use with proper guardrails

What they look for

• Six or more years writing for marketing or in content design or strategy, with proven independent craft
• Two or more years working on direct-to-consumer digital products
• Ability to motivate people through a difficult, sometimes intimidating process
• Comfort testing and refining with analytics, A/B tests and usability research
• Skill at building customer insight through audits, competitive research and user interviews
