Abrasives Systems Specialist

About the role

A field sales role responsible for growing an abrasives and tools portfolio across a Southern California territory, working with distributors and end users to hit forecast and cost savings targets.

What you will do

• Own the abrasives and tools forecast for the assigned territory
• Drive growth initiatives and strategies across Orange County and part of Los Angeles County
• Develop customers and application processes to expand the product portfolio
• Deliver documented cost savings and run business reviews with key accounts
• Work with marketing, technical service and leadership on growth programs
• Manage accounts daily in Salesforce and present demos at partner and customer sites

What they look for

• A high school diploma plus five years of field sales experience, or a bachelor's degree plus one year
• A current and valid driver's license
• Willingness to drive a company vehicle and pass motor vehicle checks
• Ability to travel up to 20 percent overnight within the territory

Nice to have

• A master's degree in business from an accredited institution
• Five years of field sales experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
