Academic Sales Representative

About the role

You will handle inbound enquiries from families already interested in tutoring and guide them toward enrolment. The role is consultative phone sales rather than cold calling.

What you will do

• Speak with families who have asked about tutoring services
• Explore each student's academic challenges, goals and needs
• Recommend suitable tutoring options and explain their value
• Discuss pricing, handle objections and close enrolments
• Follow up proactively and keep the sales pipeline moving
• Keep CRM records of conversations, follow-ups and outcomes accurate

What they look for

• Two or more years of sales experience, ideally consultative or phone based
• A record of meeting quotas, KPIs or revenue targets
• Experience handling objections, pricing talks and closing
• Self-motivated approach to managing leads and commitments
• Strong communication, organisation and time management
• Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home workspace

Nice to have

• Experience in education, tutoring or enrolment sales
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• A bachelor's degree
