Application Architect

About the role

Ensure project designs align with the application architecture roadmap and guide teams on functional and technical design. The role defines how packages, databases and middleware interact and serves as expert for products needing integration.

What you will do

• Align project specific designs with the application architecture roadmap
• Support project and product teams on functional and technical design work
• Define interactions among application packages, databases and middleware systems
• Act as subject matter expert for products that must be integrated

What they look for

• A bachelor degree plus four years in IT, or equivalent certification and course study plus six years, or eight years in IT
• Experience designing application or product features and configuring applications
• Hands on work with Azure or Databricks
• Development platform or language experience such as HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, Ruby or C
• Cloud computing experience with SaaS or PaaS
• DevOps or continuous integration and deployment tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, RallyDev or Jira

Nice to have

• A bachelor degree in computer science or information technology
• Product specific application architecture experience
• Ability to connect solutions across multiple systems

Pay

USD 92,700 to 167,500 per year
