Assistant Video Editor

About the role

Support a creative team by preparing and editing short social media video assets, managing files from intake to client delivery, and adapting content for various platforms.

What you will do

• Organize and manage creative files and media throughout each project
• Assemble simple edits and short clips for social platforms, including subtitles and stitching
• Resize and reformat footage, thumbnails, GIFs and looped videos to platform specs
• Cut short pieces from client long-form footage and sync supplied audio
• Pass creative and client feedback along clearly to keep assets on brief

What they look for

• Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above
• At least three years creating and editing video assets
• Familiarity with output and delivery workflows for client or editor handoff
• Comfort with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop
