Associate Director, Medical Writer, HEOR Publications

About the role

Leads the creation and delivery of health economics and outcomes research publications across an oncology portfolio, turning complex evidence into clear, high impact scientific communications. The role shapes the external scientific narrative and supports value and access decisions worldwide.

What you will do

• Direct the writing and delivery of HEOR publications such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters and congress presentations
• Turn cost effectiveness, budget impact, real world evidence and patient reported outcome findings into rigorous communications
• Work with HEOR, market access, medical affairs, biostatistics and external experts on publication strategy
• Help build integrated publication and evidence dissemination plans that support global value and access goals
• Interpret study designs, statistical analyses, economic models and patient centred data for balanced messaging
• Oversee several concurrent projects across indications and regions, meeting timelines, quality standards and budgets

What they look for

• An advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH or MS
• Substantial experience writing medical or HEOR publications
• Strong grasp of health economics, outcomes research and real world evidence methods
• Familiarity with Good Publication Practice, ICMJE recommendations and ISPOR good practices
• Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, vendors and publication agencies
• Skill at managing multiple projects across regions and indications
