Associate Service Operations Manager

About the role

Owns the quality of service and repair work in the region, making sure crews are staffed right and customer problems get fixed. Success means processes are followed and jobs finish on time.

What you will do

• Train and lead the service and repair crews in the operating area
• Make sure the right people and resources are in place to meet customer needs
• Step in on serious customer problems and see them through to a fix
• Run process workshops and check field tests and inspection reports

What they look for

• At least five years in the elevator industry
• Prior management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred
• Comfort with Microsoft desktop software and managing several projects at once

A typical week

• Spend time in the field with service and repair teams across the region
• Meet service managers to talk through performance problems and fixes
• Review inspection data and field test results for patterns worth acting on
• Travel to sites, up to half the schedule or as needed
