Bilingual Medical Patient Coordinator

About the role

The coordinator handles patient calls, insurance checks and scheduling for a US imaging practice, working remotely during Eastern Time business hours.

What you will do

• Answer and route high volumes of inbound patient calls in English and Spanish
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits and coverage requirements
• Calculate and explain estimated patient costs such as deductibles and copays
• Schedule appointments and collect demographic and intake information
• Support the on-site front desk with remote check-ins during busy hours

What they look for

• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Background in US healthcare administration, medical reception or virtual assistance
• Hands-on experience with insurance eligibility and benefits verification
• Strong organization and accuracy in a fast-paced setting
• Clear, empathetic patient communication

Pay

USD 6 to 7 per hour
