Bilingual Virtual Assistant Receptionist (English/Spanish)

About the role

A remote, patient facing support role for an internal medicine clinic. The assistant handles bilingual phone contact, scheduling and insurance tasks that keep the clinic running smoothly.

What you will do

• Manage many inbound and outbound calls with patients, pharmacies and payer offices
• Speak clearly and professionally in English and Spanish
• Send reminders, follow up, reschedule and assist patients generally
• Book new and returning patients by phone, email and text
• Keep provider calendars accurate and avoid gaps or overlaps
• Verify eligibility and benefits before visits and confirm copays and deductibles

What they look for

• Strong spoken and written English and Spanish
• Prior experience with phones in patient, customer or healthcare support
• Confidence coordinating appointments and follow ups by phone
• Highly organised and precise with several tasks at once
