Clinical Application Specialist, General Imaging

About the role

You will lead clinical education, training and demonstration efforts for general imaging ultrasound across New York City and the Hudson Valley. Your work helps customers improve image quality, workflow and protocols from the pre-sale stage through implementation.

What you will do

• Provide technical and clinical leadership in pre-sales demonstrations of the full ultrasound range
• Schedule and run objective based system training, then monitor and report on outcomes
• Pursue competitive accounts and relay market intelligence back to the business
• Support trade shows and conferences with product demonstrations and customer training
• Keep pre and post training documentation in line with global guidance and quality and safety policies

What they look for

• Associate degree or equivalent plus at least three years of technical or clinical general imaging ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, with vascular, adult cardiac or MSK credentials preferred
• Understanding of clinical education training and how to put related processes in place
• Experience presenting complex information and adjusting the message to the audience
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems, networking and IT
• Readiness to travel extensively, four to five days a week including overnight stays

• Registered Vascular Technologist credential
• Adult Cardiac certification
• MSK certification
