Contracts Manager, MEP

About the role

Oversee MEP contract and billing work for construction projects, coordinating consultants, vendors and site teams to keep packages on track and payments accurate.

What you will do

• Coordinate with external design consultants on finalising MEP design and specifications
• Liaise between the in-house architectural team, external consultants and site project managers
• Issue MEP tenders to vendors and contractors under the regional contracts head
• Assess contractor quotations, prepare comparison statements and recommend value engineering
• Check MEP bills against contract terms and prepare payment certificates
• Track MEP orders, bills and budgets, and evaluate variation and change orders

What they look for

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in electrical engineering
• At least 12 to 15 years of experience in contracts and billing
• Familiarity with SAP systems for uploading contracts
• Ability to perform rate analysis of items when needed
