Conversion Rate Optimization Strategist

About the role

An analytical strategist role managing end-to-end conversion optimisation programmes for several e-commerce brands. You turn analytics and customer research into testable hypotheses and oversee A/B testing roadmaps.

What you will do

• Run quantitative and qualitative research on storefronts to find conversion bottlenecks and friction points
• Analyse GA4 data to locate drop-offs, weak landing pages and funnel barriers
• Mine reviews, surveys and personas to surface recurring purchase objections and motivations
• Use heat maps and scroll maps to assess visitor behaviour and intent
• Form hypotheses and build prioritised experimentation roadmaps across product, landing, cart and checkout pages
• Brief design and copy teams, coordinate test launches and evaluate statistical outcomes

What they look for

• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with independent ownership of CRO programmes
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 and behavioural tools such as Microsoft Clarity
• Ability to translate research insights into commercially meaningful A/B testing hypotheses
• Experience managing multiple client brands and prioritising experiments by impact and feasibility
• Comfort presenting proposed experiments for client approval
