Lead the launch and growth of a golf brand's Japanese business as its first senior hire in the country, working remotely and reporting to the COO.

Drive commercial activity in Japan, negotiating key deals and managing sales partners day to day
Open and develop new channels such as pro shops, driving ranges and indoor golf studios
Set up local operations with the Munich team, including entity, imports, logistics and e-commerce
Recruit and lead the local team alongside a Tokyo-based brand and community lead
Own the Japan profit and loss, planning and forecasting, and report to the COO
Guard brand standards through price integrity, selective distribution and high service levels

Native Japanese speaker with fluent business English
At least ten years in the Japanese golf or premium sporting goods sector with strong commercial results
Prior work for a foreign brand in Japan, ideally during market entry or expansion
Hands-on experience building structures, partners or teams without a large organisation

Build a new business as its first leader with real ownership and direct management access
Join a brand with existing fans in Japan and an investor-backed growth plan
