About the role

A full-time remote role building and operating distributed data infrastructure that supports AI-driven products and research, from ingestion through storage and monitoring.

What you will do

Develop distributed processing workflows with Apache Spark or similar frameworks
Optimise transformations, partitioning and workloads, and resolve performance bottlenecks
Design scalable AWS data architectures across SQL and NoSQL systems
Implement monitoring, validation and automation, and collaborate with researchers and data scientists

What they look for

Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Demonstrated experience processing large-scale datasets and understanding of partitioning and performance optimisation

Nice to have

Exposure to AI/ML or research environments
Familiarity with LLM training, evaluation or experimentation datasets

Pay

USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year
