  • Turn scraping and data requirements into a test plan and own QA from project start
  • Mix exploratory manual and visual testing with automation where it pays off
  • Run test cycles on extracted data and report results clearly
  • Write defects a developer can reproduce without asking questions
  • Use statistics, summaries and charts to show completeness, accuracy, consistency and drift
  • Flag unclear or untestable requirements with project managers and clients before testing

  • 5 or more years in QA testing software or data
  • Python, with Pandas and Jupyter for analysis and validation
  • SQL at basic to intermediate level, plus one relational database and its tools
  • Familiar with HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP and CSS
  • Experience testing HTTP and REST APIs
  • Comfortable in an agile team using Scrum or Kanban

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Scrapy or other Python scraping frameworks
  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Interest in data science and in using AI or LLM tools for validation
