What you will do
- Lead the design and build of Databricks architectures for data engineering, analytics, AI and ML workloads
- Administer workspaces, account settings, users, groups, service principals, permissions, secrets and jobs
- Design and manage Unity Catalog metastores, catalogs, schemas, external locations, credentials and access controls
- Define compute, cluster policy, SQL warehouse, orchestration and workload patterns balancing cost, speed and security
- Turn business, security and governance needs into Databricks-native patterns, plans and design documentation
- Work with cloud, security, identity, networking and DevOps teams on secure integration across major cloud providers
