Dental Patient Coordinator (Oral Surgery)

About the role

A remote coordinator role supporting a surgical clinic by handling scheduling, paperwork and pre and post operative patient coordination so procedures run smoothly.

What you will do

• Schedule appointments and send patients reminders for upcoming visits
• Make sure new patient forms, consent documents and payments are finished before appointments
• Keep patient records and documentation organised and up to date
• Answer patient questions and handle correspondence
• Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare professionals
• Help with insurance coordination and processing of explanation of benefits

What they look for

• Active Registered Nurse licence with comfort reviewing medical histories and medication lists
• Familiarity with medical and dental terminology for clear communication
• Strong front desk experience, ideally in a dental or oral surgery setting
• Confident daily use of Open Dental for scheduling and patient communication
• Quick learner who follows instructions and adapts to shifting priorities
• Highly organised and proactive with a focus on patient service and HIPAA compliance

Nice to have

• Prior oral surgery experience is strongly preferred

Pay

USD 5 to 7 per hour
