What you will do
- Define the first-pass preliminary substation design basis, assumptions, equipment needs and layouts
- Review client documents, interconnection agreements, utility and ISO handbooks and owner standards
- Lead development of 10 percent design deliverables such as single-line diagrams and general arrangement drawings
- Coordinate technical inputs from consultants, procurement, estimating, scheduling and specialty subcontractors
- Align preliminary design, quantities, scope narrative and schedule with estimating
- Prepare and issue proposal requests to engineers of record and engineering subcontractors
