Digital Marketing Analyst

About the role

An analyst who supports SEO and content strategy work for client websites, studying shifts in organic search performance and helping design programmes that lift conversion of organic traffic. The role sits with the SEO and content strategy teams.

What you will do

• Carry out keyword research and gap analyses
• Perform keyword research shaped by personas and buyer journeys together with other analysts
• Work with content strategy to spot content opportunities on client sites
• Run technical site crawls alongside SEO engineers
• Analyse competitors and market opportunities to surface actionable insights
• Turn data into clear findings for internal teams and client deliverables, and help with inbound marketing and new business pitches

What they look for

• Roughly one to two years of professional experience, ideally at an agency, in-house marketing or similar setting
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and vlookups in Excel, plus Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Google Slides
• Advanced Google Sheets ability for large datasets, complex formulas and data transformation
• Understanding of search engine ranking factors
• Proficiency with analytics packages and Google Search Console, plus strong written and verbal skills

Nice to have

• Previous client-facing or agency experience
• Experience with content marketing
• Up-to-date knowledge of current SEO practices
• Working knowledge of paid search
