Director of Business Development

About the role

A hands-on leader who grows referrals, develops the business development team, and executes strategies supporting census, payer mix, and revenue goals while staying active in the market.

What you will do

• Coach and develop the business development team around collaboration and accountability
• Carry an active portfolio of referral relationships and personally generate admissions
• Build and run strategies that support census, payer mix, and revenue targets
• Set team goals and KPIs, using CRM and conversion data to guide strategy
• Open referral channels with providers, hospitals, clinicians, employers, and community groups
• Join field activity such as referral meetings, presentations, events, and facility visits

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree preferred
• Five or more years in business development, sales, or outreach, including behavioral health or substance abuse
• Track record of generating referrals, admissions, or revenue
• Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting, and performance data
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Pay

USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year
