About the role

Original content creation sits at the centre of this job, from first idea to published post. Working beside the social media lead, the person keeps a steady publishing rhythm and uses performance numbers to decide what to keep making.

At a glance

What you will do

• Concept, design, shoot, edit and publish static and video posts for the main social platforms
• Film self-shot and on-location footage, including on-camera and behind-the-scenes material
• Track performance data and use it to decide what content to continue or drop
• Write captions and copy in a platform-native voice and keep the content calendar running

What they look for

• Hands-on video production and editing skills, for example CapCut or Premiere, shooting on phones
• A feel for what makes a still design or a video hold an audience
• Daily awareness of social and cultural trends and which ones suit the brand

A typical week

• Review weekend performance, sync with the team on the week's priorities and pitch timely ideas
• Film original content, draft captions and shot lists, and agree the calendar with the social lead
• Edit and finalise video, schedule posts, reply to comments and DMs, design original posts
• Produce trend-driven content while it is live, work with design on campaign assets, review work in progress
• Pull weekly data, share what was learned, organise footage and plan upcoming shoots
