Support a large federal healthcare modernization effort by integrating a fraud, waste and abuse tool with community care systems and other health platforms, working fully remote within the continental US.
What you will do
- Assess system readiness and map healthcare claims workflows to define integration plans
- Build and maintain EDI maps and workflows for 835, 837 and 277CA transactions
- Set up trading partners, communication protocols and document formats, validating compliance
- Monitor daily EDI operations, troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis
- Work with analysts, architects, developers and QA on design, testing and rollout
- Keep documentation of EDI processes, partner requirements and configurations, and support audits
What they look for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or similar, plus eight or more years in healthcare integration
- Deep knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions, HIPAA rules and EDIFACT or XML formats
- Understanding of integration architectures, mapping tools, APIs, SFTP, AS2, VANs, databases and SQL
- Experience integrating federal healthcare systems and delivering solutions from concept to production
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD pipelines, with high volume transaction experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills for an Agile DevSecOps setting
