Enterprise Solutions Engineer

About the role

A technical sales role owning the full evaluation cycle for enterprise prospects, from discovery through proof of concept to close, with a focus on winning new accounts and displacing incumbents.

What you will do

• Work with account executives on technical account plans and competitive sales approaches
• Run discovery, define success plans, qualify deals and support negotiations through close
• Build relationships with technical and executive stakeholders and tailor solution messaging
• Design migration paths and differentiated positioning to displace incumbent vendors
• Deliver narrative driven demos and technical presentations that show the platform in action
• Hand deals over to customer engineering once they close and spot expansion chances early

• Care about the quality of every demo, proof of concept and technical conversation
• Enjoy guiding skeptical prospects to conviction, especially against strong incumbents
• Comfortable presenting to a CTO at a whiteboard and to an executive committee
• Organized and metrics aware, owning your pipeline without close supervision
• Resilient when demos or evaluations hit unexpected blockers
• At ease in fast moving settings where processes are still being built
