Executive Loan Officer

About the role

A client facing mortgage origination role guiding borrowers from application through closing. The officer also builds referral networks and represents the lender in the community.

What you will do

• Build referral relationships with real estate agents, advisors, accountants and past clients
• Review client finances and documents to match them with suitable loan products
• Educate clients on buying and refinancing and on managing their mortgage
• Grow a book of business that drives referral volume and revenue
• Represent the lender at civic and community events to generate leads

What they look for

• Experience originating mortgage loans
• State and federal licenses
• Proven ability to obtain referrals and generate leads
• Strong communication, time management, teamwork and strategic thinking

Nice to have

• Three years of mortgage origination experience
• Interest in working and growing in an entrepreneurial setting
