Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Deliver primary care to a panel of patients with varied needs, blending in-clinic visits with occasional virtual care. The role combines acute, chronic and wellness care within a collaborative clinical team.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel covering acute, chronic and wellness visits
• See patients in the office or testing centers and handle some telehealth visits
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning
• Coordinate daily with on-site colleagues and virtual clinical teams
• Use your clinical training and perform procedures in the office
• Obtain extra state licenses and credentialing for virtual care in other states

What they look for

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and hold national certification
• Hold a California license by the start date
• At least 2 years of outpatient primary care practice in the last 5 years, seeing patients of all ages
• Or 1 year of such practice plus a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1 or more years in urgent care
• Show a commitment to human-centered primary care

Nice to have

• Experience with LARC insertion such as IUD and Nexplanon, and with colposcopy
