Family Medicine Physician

About the role

Deliver primary care to a panel of patients with varied needs, blending in-clinic visits with occasional virtual care and supervision of advanced practice colleagues.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel covering acute, chronic and wellness visits
• See patients in the office, at testing sites and occasionally by telehealth
• Supervise one or more nurse practitioners or physician assistants
• Join weekly clinical rounds and daily team huddles with virtual and in-office colleagues
• Perform in-office procedures using your clinical training
• Obtain extra state licenses and credentialing for virtual primary care

What they look for

• Completed or currently enrolled in an accredited family medicine or medicine/pediatrics residency
• At least two of the past five years in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages
• Georgia state license in place before starting
• Comfort using technology to deliver high quality care
• Evidence-based primary care skills and ease caring for people of all backgrounds
