Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

A full time clinical role caring for a patient panel with a wide range of needs, blending in-office visits with occasional telehealth. The position includes a sign-on bonus and one remote day per week.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel covering acute, chronic and wellness visits
• Treat patients in office or at testing centres and handle occasional telehealth visits
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning
• Collaborate with in-office colleagues in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
• Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures
• Obtain extra state licences and credentialing for virtual primary care in other states

What they look for

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and hold national certification
• Licensed in California by the start date
• Within the past five years, at least two years in outpatient primary care, or one year plus a one year fellowship or a year or more in urgen
• A strong commitment to human-centred primary care
• Ability to communicate successfully

Nice to have

• Experience inserting LARC devices such as IUDs and Nexplanon and performing colposcopy
