About the role

A remote field role giving technical and scientific backing to customers using next generation sequencing and precision enzyme products across North America, with heavy travel.

What you will do

• Give pre-sales and post-sales scientific and technical help to customers on site and remotely
• Travel across North America up to most of the time, joining sales colleagues, key accounts, training and trade events
• Diagnose customer problems, run investigations and work out fixes using deep product knowledge
• Create training materials and present technical content to new and existing customers
• Share customer and market feedback and flag unmet needs that could shape new products
• Work with the commercial team on collaborations with research institutions and industry partners

What they look for

• A master's degree is required
• At least four years in a field applications role
• Strong grasp of next generation sequencing products, workflows and applications
• Willingness to travel extensively within the US, with some possible international trips
• Based near a major airport, ideally on the West Coast
