Field Reimbursement Manager

About the role

A field based market access expert who guides healthcare providers and their staff through reimbursement and coverage for a therapy, resolving access barriers so appropriate patients can obtain treatment.

What you will do

• Tackle patient access barriers with customers and accounts, resolving prior authorizations, appeals and denials
• Teach practices, multi-specialty groups, facilities and their staff about reimbursement support programs, coverage, coding and payer policie
• Help minimise access barriers so suitable patients can obtain the company's products through provider education
• Give practice managers, billing staff, nurses and reimbursement teams clear, actionable information on payer rules and processes
• Review with practices how they use reimbursement support services and suggest program improvements

What they look for

• Deep knowledge of payer policies and the coverage landscape
• Understanding of coverage pathways for both medical and pharmacy benefit
• Strong business acumen and grasp of the national payer environment
