A freelance role training and assessing AI agents on advanced fluid simulation work. You prepare simulation cases, produce trusted reference results and code checks for the agent's output.
What you will do
- Set up and run fluid simulations from supplied CAD geometry
- Create verified reference solutions for expert-level simulation tasks
- Write Python scripts that check the agent's results
- Evaluate how well AI agents handle fluid simulation problems
What they look for
- Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or energy or oil and gas
- Several years of practical CFD work in industry or research, meshing included
- Hands-on use of OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or CFX, or STAR-CCM+
- Experience with mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks
- Comfortable using Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery
- Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows
