Senior Python Engineer

About the role

Build the backend services and distributed systems behind a cloud platform that helps organisations manage and scale drone operations safely. Work spans cloud computing, geospatial data and aviation.

What you will do

• Develop scalable backend services and distributed systems for the drone management platform
• Collaborate with platform, data, product and infrastructure engineers plus product managers
• Take ownership of system reliability, technical direction and architecture decisions
• Contribute to technical decisions within two-week agile iterations

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field
• Strong Python backend development experience
• Experience with REST and gRPC APIs and containerised applications
• Knowledge of cloud-native CI/CD and distributed systems architecture
• Ability to understand customer needs and deliver measurable value
