Healthcare Integration Architect

About the role

Designs and builds integrations linking clinical and business systems, with a focus on interoperability and a shared integration platform. The role blends architecture work with hands-on interface development.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end links among clinical systems such as HIS, RIS, PACS and LIS
• Set integration architecture and data flows between local and central platforms
• Own, develop and improve the central Mirth integration platform
• Build and configure channels, connectors, transformations and routing rules
• Troubleshoot complex interface faults and analyse failed or duplicate messages
• Standardise integrations and replace point-to-point links with reusable services

What they look for

• Experience designing healthcare integrations using HL7 v2, FHIR and DICOM
• Hands-on Mirth development including channels, transformers and filters
• Ability to define integration patterns for patient, order and result exchange
• Skill in message processing reliability such as retries, queues and error handling
• Experience producing architecture diagrams, interface specs and technical documentation
• Awareness of patient safety, data integrity and traceability in design
