About the role

Consulting engagements helping public healthcare organisations match their staffing to the communities they serve, covering workforce strategy, capacity and access. Work is project-based and tied to contract awards.

What you will do

• Assess staffing needs and plan healthcare workforce capacity
• Support recruitment, retention, succession and leadership development
• Benchmark pay, design incentives and measure provider productivity
• Redesign organisational structures and deploy staff effectively
• Analyse labour supply and demand, including rural and underserved access
• Connect workforce investment to service delivery through strategic plans

What they look for

• Substantial leadership experience in healthcare, workforce strategy, HR or physician enterprise
• Proven results in planning, pay, hiring, retention, provider use or organisational improvement
• Ability to use workforce and operational data to inform decisions
• Strong communication and skill at turning findings into practical recommendations
• Familiarity with public hospitals, academic systems, community centres or rural programmes

Nice to have

• Prior government or public-sector experience
