IFS Techno-Functional Consultant / Platform Specialist

About the role

A specialist role focused on running and improving an IFS Cloud platform, covering setup, extensions, integrations and day to day administration. It is hands-on platform work rather than core code development.

What you will do

• Configure the IFS Cloud platform, including page designer, custom fields and custom actions
• Handle the extensibility framework such as events, workflows, projections and process automation
• Administer users, roles, permission sets and access control across the security model
• Manage scheduled tasks, background jobs, report routing and system settings
• Support upgrades and service updates with environment readiness, regression checks and rollback plans
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, data and integration problems, and document configurations and procedures

What they look for

• Strong hands-on background with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications
• Deep knowledge of IFS configuration, extensibility and platform administration
• Solid grasp of the IFS security model, including users, roles and permissions
• Experience with IFS Connect, queues, routing rules and upgrades
• Analytical problem solving in ERP settings, independent remote working and communication with US based teams

Nice to have

• Work in complex enterprise environments
• Exposure to business process automation and system optimisation
• Knowledge of integration best practices and documentation standards
• Performance tuning and platform monitoring within IFS
